  When we arrived at the resort (more like a motel) we were told that there was a strict 'no party policy', but that we could go to the club after the wedding finished. When we arrived at the club at 10.30pm (1 and a half hours before it shut), the security guard asked me where I had been. I replied 'At the wedding' and he announced "I cannot let anybody in from the wedding as we don't know how much you've had to drink". I was absolutely shocked by this as the whole wedding party was staying at the motel and we were told at reception that we could go to the club/bar after the wedding so this is why we had come back...

  When I laughed and walked off the grooms uncle asked me what had happened and I explained it to him. He assumed I was not let in because the security guard thought I was drunk yet when he approached the entrance he was told the exact same thing - "nobody from the wedding is allowed in".

  He was a tall and bald man (working the door Saturday night) and as a business owner myself I highly recommend to management that this issue be addressed with him. I certainly won't be staying there again based purely off this one man's power trip.

  Clearly this security guard had decided he wanted to go home early and couldn't be bothered to deal with a large group of rowdy wedding-goers.

  A group of friends and I booked 10+ rooms in the Springs Resort last weekend as part of a large wedding party. The staff were friendly and the rooms were decent however we had a horrible experience with the security guard at the onsite club.

  affordable and quality rooms. very neat and clean. staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Nice Golf course and Club at the property.
